EPIC is now around 0.44u. This coin’s predecessor was called Ethernity Chain, which focuses on certifying digital collectibles. Last year, a DAO vote changed its name—97% of people agreed to switch to this current identity—and the token was also swapped from ERN to EPIC on a 1:1 basis.

After the renaming, it started pushing harder in the direction of putting real-world assets on-chain, moving tangible things like real estate and commodities onto the chain so people can trade them. Ripple is one of its investors, and it also plans to plug XRP directly into this system.

Its hotel and flight booking business is also part of its operations: it can be significantly cheaper than booking websites, and you can pay with more than 200 types of coins.

It previously surged to an all-time high of 3.2u, but it has since dropped by nearly 90%. These days, its price has been swinging quite frequently—there was even a time when it rose by more than 20% in a single day.

For a project that has just changed its name and is now telling a new story, whether it can truly build the business still depends on whether these real-world asset on-chain efforts can actually be implemented #epic $EPIC
