《At the 480 level, longs are celebrating wildly while shorts are sharpening their knives》

$ZEC It’s been pushed up to 547 again—do you think the bulls are safe?
But look closely at the 480 level: the longs are just making noise, while the shorts haven’t been idle at all.

On the technicals, the hourly MACD has already weakened. The price is still above the moving average, but there’s clearly a sense of stagnation in the high zone.
On the news side, the short-term positives have also been digested almost fully. The profit-taking is starting to loosen—that’s something you can smell from the order book.

In the liquidation data, a bunch of short positions have accumulated around 460. If they really push through with volume, it will trigger a wave of panic selling.
Below, 430–440 is where the longs’ “bottom pants” break—then it’s straight up going naked.

As for the “smart money,” both sides are adding. Giant whales’ short positions and leveraged longs are going head-to-head—the battle is intense.

For execution: trying shorts around 480 can be done with a tight stop-loss, since it’s against the trend.
Going long? Wait until 460 holds firm. Don’t chase in now—the risk/reward isn’t great.
At this spot, betting on direction doesn’t require going heavy.

My take: the probability of a short-term pullback is relatively high, but the medium-term trend hasn’t broken. If it dips, that’s actually an opportunity.
But don’t rush to catch the falling knife—wait for stabilization signals before acting.

Control your position size. This is not the place for you to “all-in”; it’s the place where you wait for signals.
In the comments, I’ll send you the key entry signals.
But I know you’ll probably still be impulsive and take a shot at 480.
It’s fine—try a few times and you’ll learn how important waiting is.
Smart people already had orders placed at the key level, waiting to collect the spoils.
