🚀 A 24-year-old student from South Korea and his risky experience
A young trader from South Korea borrowed funds and, using margin trading with leverage of x500, increased his capital from $14,000 to $202,000. However, after just 4 weeks, the market crashed, and the broker liquidated his positions, leaving him with almost no funds.
Despite the losses, the trader said he intends to take out another loan as soon as he builds up starting capital. Meanwhile, the volume of margin loans for trading futures in South Korea reached $26 billion, and investors’ total debt surpassed $41 billion.
