Recently, protests broke out in Ukraine over the replacement of the Minister of Defense, Fedorov. On July 20, the protest entered its fifth day. Ukrainian citizens demanded that President Zelensky reinstate Fedorov to his position and fully reorganize the military leadership. On the same day, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Syrskyi, posted a statement denying that there was any confrontation or conflict between him and the former Defense Minister Fedorov.
