Looks like demand isn’t picking up?! Changxin Technology’s strategic placement share count is “cut in half,” with the actual subscription share count shrinking by about half

Changxin Technology’s strategic placement final subscription results have been released. The initial strategic placement allocation for 30 firms was 3.344 billion shares, and the actual final subscribed shares were 1.667 billion shares—meaning the actual subscribed share count shrank by about half. This has sparked speculation in the market. It’s understood this is related to common industry practices.
For strategic placement shares, the initial design generally follows the regulatory maximum, leaving room for redundancy. For a large-scale issuance like Changxin Technology, the strategic placement allocation cap is 3.344 billion shares (50% of the issued amount); later, the allocation will be adjusted again based on the actual situation via reallocation. It’s understood that although the actual subscription number decreased, the total actual subscribed amount by the 30 strategic placement participants matches the initially pledged subscription amount (144.37 billion yuan). In addition, these difference shares were transferred to online subscriptions, significantly boosting the winning rate (lottery results) for the online new shares. $SPCX
