Investment Risk|Don’t Forget Your Risk Just Because the Market Starts Rising

Recently, market sentiment has begun to improve, and ETF funds are flowing back in.

But I want to remind you of one very simple thing:

When the market rises, it doesn’t mean the risk has disappeared.

Many people don’t dare to buy when the market is falling, but after it starts going up, they suddenly become extremely confident.

The problem is that when everyone starts getting optimistic, prices are usually already higher than before.

So whether the market is rising or falling, you should first check your own position.

Don’t put in more capital than you can afford just because you’re afraid of missing the move.

Opportunities will always be there, but once your principal is lost, it will be much harder to start over.

Don’t get carried away just because it’s up—risks are still there.

Every time it goes up, I regret not buying enough, but when it really drops, I don’t dare to act. That’s human nature. Still, I have to follow the plan.

The principal is the real foundation; if you lose, it’s hard to turn things around—staying steady is never wrong.

That’s right—ETF inflows are just a sentiment indicator, not a safety net. Think back to last year’s crash: how many people got buried after chasing the rally. Better set a take-profit and stop-loss so you can sleep soundly.

The worst thing is the mindset of “If you don’t buy now, you’ll be too late”—in reality, there are plenty of opportunities; don’t rely on luck or take reckless chances.
