Losing 50,000 USDT down to only a little over 1,000 U—many people’s first reaction isn’t to adjust, but to think they’ve already lost. But what truly determines the outcome has never been how much you’re down; it’s whether, when you’re at a low point, you can stay calm.

I once ran into a friend. His account shrank from 50,000 U all the way down, until it was left with only 1,846 U.
At 2 a.m., he sent me one line: “Can it come back?”
I didn’t tell him to immediately go all-in to get his money back, and I didn’t tell him that one trade could change his fate. Because in trading, the most dangerous thing isn’t the loss—it’s losing your rationality after the loss. Later, I kept with him, waiting for the real opportunity that truly belonged to him.
First, don’t rush to prove yourself.
After a loss, the easiest mistake is trying to use a single trade to earn back everything you lost. The truly correct approach is to test with a small position—scale up only when the direction is right, and exit promptly when it’s wrong. If the principal is still there, the opportunity is still there.
Second, don’t let market sentiment carry you away.
When the market is rising, everyone thinks it can keep going up; when things get crazy, risk is often accumulating. A good trade isn’t about getting excited with everyone else—it’s about understanding the market’s rhythm. Stay vigilant when others are greedy, and look for opportunities when others are panicking.
Third, at key levels, dare to make decisions.
Get in when you should; leave decisively when you should. Trading isn’t about turning things around with one big gamble—it’s about each choice becoming more mature than the last.
Later, he was able to stand back up—not because luck suddenly got better, but because he learned to control his emotions and wait for his opportunity. The hardest thing in crypto isn’t making the first amount of money. It’s after a series of failures, still staying calm, and waiting for the next opportunity that belongs to you.
