7.21 Gold evening wrap-up: surged higher then faced pressure and pulled back; high-short approach remains
After gold prices touched the 4,084 peak, they gradually retreated, confirming the earlier noon call that the overbought condition would cool off, with bullish momentum clearly weakening.
Technicals: On the 30-minute Bollinger Bands, upper band 4,085.06 and mid band 4,056.42; on the 1-hour Bollinger Bands, upper band 4,087.38 and mid band 4,035.13. The price fell back from the upper band, showing short-term pressure. The RSI indicator is trending downward, and a pullback trend is taking shape.
Trading range: 4,028–4,084. Resistance: 4,070 and 4,084. Support: 4,056 and 4,035.
Keke’s suggestion: In the evening, the main plan is to rebound and then go short. Sell in the 4,065–4,080 area. Targets: 4,055 and 4,035. If the level breaks, look toward 4,025. If support stabilizes, treat long positions only as short-term arbitrage trades—do not chase rallies. Set stop-loss strictly.
