U.S. stock futures ahead of Tuesday (7/21) trading, the entire fiber-optics communications concept stocks sector turned red-to-green. Marvell rose to $206.92, up 6.15%; Coherent broke above $301, up 5.47%; Lumentum, Applied Optoelectronics, and Ciena also all rose more than 4%, and the pure-photonics ETF “FOTO,” which only listed at the end of May, rose as well by 3.96%.

Over the next few days, Tesla and Alphabet (Google) earnings will be released one after another; what the market really wants to see is whether AI capital expenditures will be increased.
