Over the past couple of days, I’ve also been thinking about a question: when the market is neither going up nor down, who should you really trust?

I happened to come across a segment of contract data interpretation by (Smart Money Yan Chi), and it’s kind of interesting.
He said net long positions are actually quite strong, but guess what? The number of long vs. short holders dropped from 1.8 to 1.1. Put into plain language—that means the money going long is more concentrated, but the number of people shorting is actually higher.
So who is shorting? Most likely it’s retail traders like us trying to “top-tick.” He also added one more line: “Mom taught us since we were kids—don’t squeeze into places with too many people.”
BTC and ETH are very close to resistance, and the shark pattern mentioned at the beginning of the month is also almost finished. He suggested we stay alive first and wait for the structure to form before making a call. I feel the same—at this spot, don’t rush to take sides.
