Crypto Didn't Take My Money.
My Decisions Did.
For a long time, I blamed the market for my biggest losses.
I blamed volatility.
I blamed whales.
I blamed bad luck.
I even blamed manipulation.
It took me years to realize something uncomfortable.
The market wasn't my biggest enemy.
I was.
Every expensive mistake I made had one thing in common.
It was my decision.
Nobody forced me to buy without doing proper research.
Nobody forced me to ignore risk management.
Nobody forced me to invest money I couldn't afford to lose.
And nobody forced me to hold onto a position simply because I hoped it would recover.
The market only revealed the consequences of those decisions.
Today, when an investment goes against me, I no longer ask,
"Who caused this?"
I ask,
"What could I have done differently?"
That shift completely changed the way I invest.
Because the truth is...
Volatility doesn't destroy portfolios.
Poor decisions do.
The market will always move.
Prices will always fluctuate.
News will always create uncertainty.
None of that is within my control.
What is within my control is:
• How much I invest.
• Whether I understand what I'm buying.
• Whether I have an exit plan.
• Whether I'm acting on research or emotion.
Once I accepted responsibility for my own decisions, I stopped looking for someone to blame.
I started looking for ways to improve.
Ironically, that's when my investing journey truly began.
The market isn't your enemy.
It's your teacher.
The question is whether you're willing to learn the lesson before paying tuition again.
What's one investing mistake that completely changed the way you approach the market today?
