7.21 evening trading ideas

During the day, the big BTC futures opened strong and surged to 65,799 USD, refreshing the intraday high and marking the highest point in nearly a month. Then, gains were held back by a rebound in international crude oil and a slight rise in U.S. Treasury yields. Headline momentum quickly faded, followed by a mild pullback. In the evening, it has been hovering in a narrow range around 65,000 USD, oscillating back and forth.

The key features of this rebound are: mainly technical repair, with a severe lack of incremental capital. The upside momentum is mainly driven by short-term liquidations concentrated in closing positions. Although spot BTC has ended 8 weeks of consecutive net outflows and has recorded small net inflows for two straight weeks, the inflow volume is too small—only enough to stabilize the price level, not enough to support a breakout with expanded volume above the heavy-press range. Coupled with the Bollinger Bands tightening to an extreme level and volatility continuing to compress, the “breakthrough window” in the evening is already close; after the narrow-range consolidation, it is likely to move into a one-way trend.

For BTC rebounds at 66,900-67,400, the target is around 65,500-65,000.
For ETH rebounds at 1,970-2,010, the target is around 1,900-1,860.

Following the plan, the short positions are already placed—just wait to see which way the market turns in the early morning.
