Q: How can I survive long-term in the crypto circle?

A:
Going in part-time to occasionally make a little money—long-term? Not possible. Once there’s pressure from above, your meager “earnings” turn into cannon fodder. For example, today’s market: you think 65,800 is the top, but it just pushes straight to 66,200, and everyone who entered at 65,200 gets liquidated.

But if you’ve been in crypto for a long time, the trend analysis you’ve accumulated—and your analysis of news from the U.S. and of the world—will make you less passive.

Also, you need to understand the 28 law of the market: it’s impossible to lose forever—unless you’re an idiot. It’s equally impossible to win forever—unless you’re even better than Buffett and even more ruthless.

To be honest, a lot of new “chives” get wiped out thinking, “I’ll just make a little profit.” They always assume they can somehow dodge the top, and in the end they pay the tuition—principal and interest. The ones who really survive either are old hands who can calm down and study macro policies, or they fully admit defeat and only DCA, doing nothing else.
