7.21 Afternoon Bitcoin and Ethereum Market Analysis

After a period of narrow-range volatility of the price spread in the 65,000–65,500 range, it started making multiple small rebounds in the afternoon, gradually pushing the price spread toward the 66,000 level. On the ETH side, the rebound force is stronger, and the rebound trend is more pronounced; basically, it has been attacking upward since around 1,900, and the current high is at 1,939. By this point, the BTC retracement thinking we gave in the morning has enough room—exit on your own. Don’t try to anticipate every turning point. Instead of battling in range-bound consolidation, it’s better to follow the direction of the larger cycle; moving with the trend is far easier than hard holding against it.

In the 1-hour BTC chart trend, the pullback is limited, and the dip-buying force is relatively weak. The short-term structure is a one-way push higher. However, now there hasn’t been a clear follow-through in terms of volume, indicating that chasing highs lacks stable willingness. If the 66,000 level keeps failing to break through effectively, it will disrupt the short-term dip-buying push rhythm. Overall, the dip-buying momentum is still being released continuously now, so the short-term remains favorable. If there is a volume expansion breakout and it holds, the upside will open to 66,500–67,000. Otherwise, just watch for a pullback and consolidation around 65,500 before continuing to buy the dip. Current levels are not recommended for chasing highs; those who already have positions can reduce exposure in batches around 66,000. ETH support has moved up to around 1,920, and the target is a breakout of the 1,950 resistance level.
