For these two months, I’ve basically been pushing the project forward on my own, with no additional hires.

A lot of friends ask me how I can juggle so many things. In reality, the biggest change is that I’ve truly integrated AI into my workflow, instead of treating it like a chat bot.
My current working pattern is roughly like this:
🚀 For development-related work, I delegate it to Codex. I plan the project directory, permission scope, and the Git workflow in advance. Then within the specified scope, it completes the development, fixes bugs, or modifies code. Even if I’m not satisfied with some changes, I can roll back at any time—so I don’t have to worry about messing up the project.
📚 For daily accumulated materials and knowledge, I don’t need to manually organize them anymore either. The content generated during discussions is synced to my knowledge base. I only need to do final checks, add missing parts, and optimize—saving a huge amount of time spent on repetitive organizing.
📱 Many tasks don’t even require sitting in front of a computer to complete. If I suddenly think of a requirement while on the go, I can assign the task directly in the ChatGPT App. By the time I get back to my computer, a lot of the work is already done, and I can continue pushing the next step right away.
What really makes me feel the change isn’t just how impressive AI is at answering questions—it’s that it has started taking on real work.
In the past, many things required developers and an assistant to coordinate. Now, many workflows can be driven by myself, and my efficiency is much higher than before.
If I had one piece of advice for friends who are just starting to work with AI, it would be this: don’t only treat ChatGPT as a search tool or a Q&A assistant.
Give it clear tasks, the necessary permissions, clear boundaries, and rules—so it can participate in the entire workflow, not just answer your questions. You’ll find that the value it can deliver is far greater than you’d imagine.
Right now, my own setup is a plan costing about $100 per month, and for my current work needs, it’s already more than enough.
