Before Intel’s earnings report, the former “US stock trading king” reopened a 2.52 million INTC long position; previously, on the same underlying asset, he cashed out $920,000.
Deep Tide TechFlow News: On July 21, Intel will release its 2026 second-quarter earnings report after the U.S. market closes on July 23 (early July 24 Beijing time). The company had previously forecast quarterly revenue of between $13.8 billion and $14.8 billion, and non-GAAP earnings per share of $0.20.
According to monitoring by Hyperinsight, the “U.S. stock trading king” reopened INTC long positions on the evening of July 17 (last Friday, Beijing time). Within about half an hour, it bought 25,000 lots in batches. The position is currently held with 10x leverage, with an average entry price of $94.57.
As of the time of publication, INTC is up 5.95% during the day, trading at $100.96. The value of this whale’s position is about $2.524 million, with unrealized gains of about $159.7k. The return rate is 67.56%, and the liquidation price is $89.69.
During the previous market decline, the “U.S. stock trading king” at one point reduced a large position to Micron Technology (MU). On the evening of July 8, it closed out the previous round of 23,000 INTC long lots at an average price of $105.31, realizing profit of about $920.3k. After 9 days, it re-entered; compared with the previous round, the number of shares in this round is 2,000 more.
Currently, the whale continues to hold MU long positions worth about $3.3782 million, with an average entry price of $505.30 and unrealized gains of about $1.4833 million. In addition, it is also trying to go long on two storage targets with smaller positions:
SanDisk (SNDK): go long 250 shares, worth about $367.5k, average price $1,438.72, unrealized profit about $7,821;
SK hynix (SKHX): go long 240 shares, worth about $300.6k, average price $1,412.39, unrealized loss about $38.4k.
