After that, buy-side demand from the longs gradually weakened; the price pushed up then saw a slowdown followed by a pullback. The rebounds after multiple rounds of interim pullbacks are all technical-repair rallies. Throughout the move, it failed to continuously expand volume and break to new highs to open up further upside space. The full resistance band above 78.40 to 78.90 has accumulated intraday short-term long take-profit orders and chasing-buy liquidation pressure, covering the entire upswing channel of this round of rebound. On the 5-minute short cycle, upward momentum shrank step by step. After printing a new high, the strength of the rally clearly weakened. The longs are only being propped up by passive capital; there is no sustained active buying momentum driving the move. The stepped-up rally that started around 76 built up a large amount of short-term profit-taking positions. The concentrated long profit-taking demand increases pressure; the 78.84 high formed strong resistance and a suppression effect. If there isn’t a continuous influx of massive incremental capital, it’s difficult for the price to hold above the 78.84 high and extend the long-led trend. The stop-loss defense zone at 79.40 above has sufficient tolerance. Unless a sudden positive catalyst triggers a violent breakout that punches through the defense level, this round of stepped rebound is likely to end at least on a temporary basis. Downside pullback space is ample. Therefore, plan to build positions in batches under pressure within a wide range, using large-span tiered take-profit zones.
