Turning things around in crypto—stop always relying on a big market move
In the crypto world, many people think turning around depends on a huge行情, catching a “妖币,” or betting correctly on the direction.
But I want to tell a truth that many people don’t want to believe: most accounts die, not because the direction was wrong, but because position management is a total mess.
I’ve seen too many examples like this. An account has only two or three thousand USDT, yet the mindset swells like it’s got one hundred thousand USDT—one trade and everything all-in. It goes up a bit, and they think they’re a trading genius. But one wick against them and the account gets cut in half instantly.
Last year, a sister found me. Her account was a little over 2000 USDT. She tinkered with it for months, and even nailed the market direction at times, but the money just wouldn’t stay.
I didn’t tell her any complicated trading strategy. I just said one line: don’t focus on how much you can make—first learn how to stay alive.
The very first thing we did was split that 2000 USDT up. Absolutely no all-in. Split it into several parts—each trade only moves a small portion, and the rest stays as a safety cushion.
This approach sounds conservative, but the benefits are obvious—if your market judgment is wrong, the market won’t kick you out with one move.
Later, her trading became simple: if she loses, she cuts losses in time—no dragging it out; if she profits, she takes it off the table—no greed.
Many people think this profit is too small, but they don’t realize: profit you can consistently and repeatedly capture matters far more than once-in-a-lifetime windfall driven by luck.
Slowly, her account started to change. Not a one-night overnight fortune, but steady growth. A bit at a time, the couple thousand USDT rolled upward.
After about three months, she sent me a screenshot—her account was almost sixty thousand USDT.
That day, she told me something, and I remember it to this day:
“Before, it wasn’t the market that was bad—it was me being too impatient.”
The harsh reality in crypto is: many people don’t lose because of skills—they lose because of position sizing and emotions.
Once the position is full, people panic, and their trading rules go out the window. But if you keep positions lighter and slow the pace down, trading becomes much simpler.
In this market, surviving is what earns you the right to talk about doubling.
If you’re stuck in the cycle of going all-in and getting trapped repeatedly—
come chat with me. I’ll help you slow your pace down.
