📈 Bitcoin nears $65,500, hitting a two-week high
Asian chip stocks surged higher and rebounded strongly; Bitcoin ETFs saw net inflows for the fifth straight day totaling over $600 million; and Middle East diplomatic progress weighed down oil prices—three positive catalysts appeared at the same time.
The link between chip stocks and Bitcoin isn’t new: both are betting on looser global liquidity and a rebound in the tech cycle. But what’s more critical this time is the persistence of ETF capital: $600 million over five days, or $120 million per day on average. If this pace holds, it would be the strongest inflow cycle since March.
The fall in oil prices sends another signal: geopolitical premium is fading, and risk appetite is picking up. Money is rotating from commodities to risk assets, and Bitcoin is one of the beneficiaries.
Next, watch two numbers: whether Bitcoin can hold above $65,500, and whether ETF net inflows can break $1 billion before the weekend. If both are true at the same time, the market may reprice to $70k.
