A few years ago, a friend of mine missed out on the major they wanted and got assigned to Electrical Engineering instead. They tried to switch majors to CS after failing, but it didn’t work—and they almost fell into depression afterward.

As it turned out, over the past two years, hardware has taken off right along with the stock market, and Electrical Engineering is the “version’s chosen one” now. It’s really one generation of version, one generation of gods…

When I was choosing a school, I also didn’t think I needed to use every single point to “maximize” everything. For subjective questions like this, there isn’t really a correct answer. Now, mainly doing trading, what major you studied isn’t that important either. The twists and turns of life’s encounters—this is about as ironic as it gets. Let everything happen, and believe that everything is the best arrangement.
