$SOL The crypto world has seen another major case. On July 10, blockchain investigator ZachXBT urgently disclosed that an early whale wallet linked to Solana’s genesis block allocation was hacked, and about 180,900 SOL (worth approximately $1.42 million) was stolen within a few hours. The hackers are laundering the stolen funds to Ethereum through cross-chain bridges. Currently, around $4 million is scattered across multiple ETH wallets, and most of it hasn’t been moved yet, making any hope of recovery slim. Even a genesis veteran fell for a private-key security lapse—showing that no matter how big the whale is, it can’t stop one accidental slip.
