Bounce back capped at 1930-1946 as sell pressure builds; stop-loss above 1955. Cut the position in half around 1900, then watch the move from 1870-1850.
BTC couldn’t break through 65,800 after three attempts, and ETH is moving in sync but lacking momentum. Current price is 1925. On the 4-hour chart, after rallying to 1933, it has been closing in consecutive red candles and falling back—classic “fake breakout pump-and-dump.” ETH has returned to 1900, but volume is clearly not keeping up; bulls lack follow-through. If an upside attempt to retest the prior high fails, a pullback is likely to happen immediately.
Resistance levels: 1930-1946. On July 15, the swing high was 1931; after pushing to 1933, it was directly smashed back down—pressure confirmation is valid.
Downside targets: 1870-1850 for the first stop. If that breaks, look for 1820-1800.
① On the 1-hour chart, after peaking at 1933, price turns downward. Candles continue to close red—typical of a volume-expanded stall. The fear index is only 25, still in the “extreme fear” zone, and market sentiment has not flipped bullish.
② Ethereum spot ETFs saw net inflows of $38.09 million yesterday, and $105 million for the week, ending eight weeks of outflows—but price just can’t go up. The catalyst has been priced in and liquidity is taking profits at high levels, same logic as BTC failing to break 65,800 three times.
③ Arthur Hayes bought another 1,332.5 ETH today (at $2.53 million). But he cut losses on 6,000 ETH in June and lost $600k—big whales are selling high and buying low. Chasing a short-term rally is basically handing him the exit liquidity.
Good news lands as bad news; when sentiment fades, technicals ultimately decide. When everyone is looking bullish, the real opportunity is on the other side $ETH
