7.21 Morning BTC/ETH Market Analysis + Practical Trade Layout Ideas

BTC and ETH on the 4-hour cycle both formed a rebound and upward structure in sync. Price is holding above the Bollinger middle band; after pushing up to test the upper band, it slightly pulled back and closed with a ranging/oscillation candle. The Bollinger channel is opening upward, the bottom support keeps rising, and the market has shifted from low-range consolidation to a bullish repair trend. Long momentum has clearly warmed up.

Phase highs: BTC 65788, ETH 1917.92; Phase lows: BTC 62505.1, ETH 1802.46.

III. Complete long and short trade layout ideas

Short-term longs (morning core idea: buy the dip at support)

BTC long

1. Conservative buy the dip: 64600-64620 pull back to the Bollinger middle band for staggered long entries
Stop loss: 64300, take profit in layers: 65200→65570, breakout targeting 65788

2. Aggressive buy the dip: 63650-63700 pull back to the Bollinger lower band for heavy long positioning
Stop loss: 63200, take profit: 64600→65570

ETH long

1. Conservative buy the dip: 1868-1870 pull back to buy at the middle band
Stop loss: 1852, take profit: 1900→1912, breakout targeting 1918

2. Aggressive buy the dip: 1826-1830 long from lower band support
Stop loss: 1802, take profit: 1870→1912

Short-term shorts (only light shorting under high-level resistance pressure; not the main play)

BTC short

• Entry zone: 65550-65575, short on touch of the Bollinger upper band

• Stop loss: 65900 (breaks previous high; bearish thesis invalidated)

• Take profit in layers: 65000→64610 (exit at the middle band)

ETH short

• Entry zone: 1915-20, touch the upper band for a light short attempt

• Stop loss: 1933

• Take profit in layers: 1890→1870 (exit at the middle band)

Trading risk-control hard rules

1. The current Bollinger opening is bullish-leaning; prioritize dip-buy longs. Shorts are only for high-level light hedging—no heavy-position shorting.

2. If the 4-hour candle body holds above the Bollinger upper band for more than two candles, exit all short attempts and follow the trend to chase longs.

3. If price closes with a candle body below the Bollinger middle band, cut all long positions, step aside, and wait for lower-band support before re-entering.

Long positions are steady, but will the stop-loss level for shorts be too close? It feels like it could easily get swept.

Thanks for sharing! The Bollinger Bands opening upward really does suit buying the dip. I placed a long at 64,600, set the stop-loss at 64,300, and the target at 65,200; for ETH, I’m also planning to pick up a bit around 1,868—keeping it steady and cautious.
