7.21 BTC morning analysis

Last night surged high then quickly fell back. The bulls’ momentum ran out, and price action is now trading in a tight range with shrinking volume. There is no volume on the rebound. The overhead trapped positions + the moving average both act as pressure, and short-term indicators are overbought—bearish control is stronger. Trade only by shorting into strength; don’t chase. If the rebound is under pressure, enter again to capture the downside room.

Last night’s spike-and-drop was indeed a typical pattern of weak bullish momentum. At this level, going short has a pretty good risk-reward ratio.

Bro, your analysis is spot on. Last month I chased the breakout and took a big loss. With this much obvious resistance from the moving averages now, the bears definitely have the advantage, but the entry point needs to be nailed down—don’t get greedy for those extra dozens of points of profit. Safety first.

I got out yesterday already, and I’m currently in profit. But I need to set the stop-loss properly—if it suddenly spikes and gets violently pumped, it’d be disastrous. Everyone, manage your own risk.

This rebound feels a bit shaky. Shrink-volume sideways consolidation is the most dangerous signal—keep waiting until the rebound reaches around 66k, then short it.
