🇺🇸 The Clarity Act's ethics language just got sent to Senate Republicans.


This is the exact issue that killed the July 4 deadline. Democrats rejected the last ethics proposal outright, Gallego called it too weak. Approval odds had dropped to 31% as of two days ago.
Details still unconfirmed. But if this holds, updated bill text could finally drop after weeks of delay. Senate recess starts after the first week of August, so the window left to actually vote on this is narrow either way.
