$STAR It dropped 18% in a day, crashing from 0.2137 to 0.1673. The trading volume was only 2.8 million—so is this a deep squat jump, or a slide-and-run to pick someone up? I’m currently torn between going long and short, so I’ll share my take.

On the bullish side: First, 0.1673 is right at a previous heavy-holder accumulation zone. If there’s a main force defending the price, it’s very likely to bounce and briefly test around 0.19. Second, the 24h turnover rate is insanely low, suggesting the panic sellers haven’t fully exited; for the shorts, they can’t keep hammering it down, which could be a signal of accumulation. Third, if overall market sentiment recovers, these small-cap coins have the lowest pull-up cost—one bullish candle can completely change people’s minds.

On the bearish side: First, the 24h drop is close to 19%, and it’s an obvious low-volume drifting down pattern with no bottoming candlestick formation—technicals can continue to probe lower to 0.15. Second, liquidity is extremely poor overall; trading volume is only 2.8 million. If big orders hit the sell button, it can break down immediately, and retail won’t be able to catch it. Third, these old coins have no fresh narrative catalysts, basically just move with the broader market. Once BTC is even slightly unstable, it’s the first thing to get abandoned.

Trading advice: If your position is light or you’re currently flat, don’t rush to bottom-buy—wait for the 0.168–0.17 zone to stabilize and see volume pick up, then try a small long with a stop loss set below 0.165. If you’re already in the red on the “wrong bus,” I suggest trimming half on the rebound to 0.18–0.185—don’t get greedy. If you’re heavily positioned, you must consider a stop loss; don’t fantasize about miracles.

At this spot, the long-vs-short tug-of-war is obvious—the market is forcing people to pick a side. I’m used to finding opportunities in panic, this “gacha machine” alien. I spend every day in the data watching small-cap coins’ anomalies—no hype, no hate, just practical execution. What do you think this move of $STAR will do next? If it goes up, I deduct 1; if it’s going to crash, I deduct 2.
