Asia early session overall order book liquidity is relatively weak. The main players will easily use small-sized limit orders to probe up and down for wash trading; false breakouts and fake breakdown signals will appear frequently. If you can’t make sense of the choppy fluctuations, then stay put and just observe—being disciplined matters far more than constantly flipping orders. The one-sentence core summary for early-session trading: when there is low volume, don’t chase rebounds; mainly short following the pressure levels. Near the support levels, take small-size long positions for short-term arbitrage only. Split positions throughout the entire process—no stop-loss, and never open a position. Wait patiently for liquidity to return in the Europe/US session; after the order book shows an obvious one-way breakout signal on increased volume, then follow the trend and step up trading intensity.
