Bitcoin miner LM Funding America rebranded to PowerCompute, focusing on AI compute infrastructure
Deep Tide TechFlow news: On July 21, according to GlobeNewswire, LM Funding America, Inc. announced that it will officially change its name to PowerCompute, Inc. effective July 22, 2026, and that its common stock will trade on Nasdaq under the new ticker symbol PWCM starting when the market opens on that day. The company said the name change is intended to unify its corporate brand image and highlight that its strategic focus has shifted to leveraging its existing 26 megawatts of in-house power infrastructure to expand high-performance computing, artificial intelligence infrastructure, and Bitcoin mining operations.
The company stated that it has two facilities in Oklahoma and Mississippi, and will advance its next phase of growth based on existing low-cost power resources and Bitcoin reserves. This name change and ticker symbol update require no action from shareholders, and the company’s CUSIP number remains unchanged.
