7.21 Morning Thoughts

The overall market liquidity in Asia is weak. The main players are likely to use small-lot limit orders to move price up and down to wash the market. False breakouts and fake breakdowns will appear frequently. If you can’t make sense of the choppy fluctuations, then be honest and wait in cash—watch and observe. Controlling your hands matters much more than constantly flipping positions. The one-sentence core summary for morning trading: when there is no volume, don’t chase the rebound—under pressure levels, mainly short in line with the move; near support levels, do only small-lot short-term long arbitrage. Split positions throughout the whole process; never open a position without a stop loss—absolutely do not open without it. Wait patiently for liquidity to return in the US and Europe session; after the market shows clear one-way breakout signals on volume expansion, then follow the trend and increase trading intensity.

Yes, the morning has poor liquidity, and the price spikes are too frequent—holding back is better than anything else.

In the early session there was a bounce with no volume—don’t chase longs. This idea is one I only understood after losing money for a year. Laying short orders at the pressure levels is indeed stable, but for small-lot arbitrage at the support levels you must keep a close eye on your stop-loss, otherwise a single needle move and you’re gone.

Bro, your analysis is on point. I got fooled by a fake breakout twice yesterday, so I’m staying in cash and waiting for the signals.
