This wave of short positions finally paid off. It wasn’t a spur-of-the-moment move—there were cracks in the chart right from the start. $MU When it first surged, it looked fierce, but what really caught my attention was that every time it touched the area overhead, it got pushed down immediately. The buy-side didn’t keep rallying—every pull-up started to feel more and more like it was manufacturing a mirage for people chasing longs.

At the time, I was watching MU’s repeated probing at the high end. Once the price got to around 991.10, it couldn’t hold ground after several attempts—the structure clearly changed. While many people were still hesitating whether to chase, I was more willing to wait for the short side to confirm.

Now the price is at 871.66, and the short position is already up +581.18%. The room in the market has been released fairly decisively. Here I’ll lean toward an 80/20 approach for staged handling: lock in part first, then keep the rest under a protective level while watching, so the profit doesn’t get swept back and forth.

To put it plainly, the biggest fear with this kind of chart is impulsively adding more. If you didn’t get in, don’t chase lower. And don’t just stare at a winning position and get blinded—wait for the next opportunity, and move only when the setup is more comfortable.
