Polymarket World Cup champion market has more than 66% of addresses in loss; large profits are concentrated among a small number of traders

Golden Finance reported that on July 20, according to @defioasis数据, among more than 194,000 independent trading addresses participating in Polymarket’s market predicting the World Cup champion, nearly 130,000 addresses made incorrect predictions, resulting in losses. Losses accounted for 66.7%. Of these, 114,000 addresses incurred losses within $100, with an average loss of less than $10. There were 43 addresses with losses exceeding $100,000, with total losses of more than $15 million. On the profitable side, most profits were within $100, with an average of less than $5. Truly large gains mainly came from a small number of traders: 54 addresses successfully profited more than $100,000, totaling more than $22 million.
