Iranian President: Has not made any concessions on any item in the memorandum of understanding.

Golden Finance reported that Iranian President Pezeshkian said at the Supreme Judicial Commission meeting, “Today we are in a state of war, and it is no longer possible to govern the country according to the usual rules and procedures of the past. Currently, we need unity and consensus more than ever, decision-making based on collective wisdom, and coordinated cooperation among all national institutions. The Iranian government will also use all resources to seriously advance reforms of unjust structures and serve the people. From a faith perspective, it is unacceptable for a society where ordinary people suffer from livelihood pressures, unemployment, poverty, and distress. In that 14-point understanding memorandum, we made no concessions regarding rights, principles, national interests, revolutionary values, and beliefs. We not only did not make any concessions that go against national interests, but after a careful review of the agreement’s terms, most of the outcomes are beneficial to the Islamic Republic of Iran; in fact, there is no clause that brings any unilateral benefit to the U.S. side.” (Qin Ten)
