i made big money before.

skill, luck, mostly the skill of giving myself options to get lucky in the right spot.
thought that was the only road. because in my head i was this exceptional individual. truth is i was never exceptional at anything.
through all the swings i stayed stoic. however bad it got.
i can do it, nobody will save me.
and the belief it had to be trading, because there was no other option. not the suit guy i was raised idealizing a different life.
limitless.
turns out at 35 i'm starting something from zero. but the hunger and the stack of skills collected over years compounds. regardless of bankroll.
so the irony: me, who thought the system was rigged and the only way was to beat it.
i might get to that life by building and delivering value into it. maybe even as part of it.
