FF's Falcon Card Pushes Tokenized Assets Toward Everyday Payments and Onchain Utility - Crypto Economy

Falcon Finance launched Falcon Card, a payments card designed to let users convert tokenized assets into everyday liquidity.

Through the protocol, users deposit various types of collateral—stablecoins, crypto assets, tokenized gold such as XAUt and tokenized stocks from Ondo and xStocks—to mint USDf, an overcollateralized synthetic dollar. Those funds can then be transferred to the card to make purchases online, in physical stores, and through compatible mobile wallet services.

The product is available to verified users in more than 90 jurisdictions. It carries no annual subscription fee or additional protocol charges beyond applicable currency conversion fees.

Funds held on the card do not generate yield; those seeking returns can stake USDf into sUSDf separately. Falcon Miles Season 2 will also reward card-related activity within the ecosystem.

The system’s design follows a three-step logic: the user deposits collateral, mints USDf as an onchain liquidity layer, and then uses that balance for real-world payments. With the card, the protocol extends its collateral infrastructure into the everyday economy, closing the loop between tokenized assets and their practical utility.
