The rule: a line does not exist until price has touched it three times. After the third touch it appears, and never moves again.
Most auto-trendline tools do the opposite: draw everything, then quietly redraw when price disagrees.
Inside:
- Touch counter on the line: "Support · 3 touches". More touches, thicker line.
- Two scales: your swings, and macro (3x bigger).
- Break = close beyond the line + ATR buffer. Wicks do not count.
- Broken lines stay as dotted ghosts, waiting for the flip retest.
- Duplicates merge, dead lines retire. A few lines that matter, not a fan of guesses.
