If I cover up the names, which altcoin do you think the chart below shows the past year’s trend for?

It went from 30 to 120, then over half a year fell back to 57—cut in half. In the middle, there was also a single day with a 30% crash, and leveraged positions got collectively liquidated.
This actually… is silver. #Silver
When it was rising, what did everyone say?
That demand in the solar power industry surged, AI data centers need huge amounts of silver, there’s a global supply gap, silver was severely undervalued, and the target price was $200…
Every single point sounds like fundamentals, and each has data to support it. Then, over half a year, it dropped 52%.
So don’t talk about A having fundamentals while B doesn’t. If it’s going to get cut in half, it’ll get cut in half.
The biggest “fundamental” is that we need to be in a fundamentally favorable cycle, basically everyone believes in the same story, and we get roughly the gains that story promises.
While the story is there, the fundamentals are reasons for the rally. When the story isn’t there, the fundamentals become excuses to buy the dip.
As for you saying that leveraging silver won’t go to zero but altcoins will—that’s even more like a form of comfort.
Danger exists in any underlying asset. Not going to zero isn’t some sort of safety net.
