Macro Market | Crypto, it’s no longer just about the crypto scene

In the past, when Bitcoin fell, everyone would first ask:

“Did something go wrong with a certain exchange?”

Now the market’s first reaction might already be:

“How are US interest rates moving?”

“Is the US dollar strong?”

“How is global risk sentiment?”

This actually shows that the crypto market is becoming more mature.

As more institutions include Bitcoin in their asset allocation, it naturally becomes affected by global financial markets, too.

This is good and bad for cryptocurrencies.

The upside is that the market is larger and there are more sources of capital; the downside is that in the future you can’t just study crypto-sector news.

To truly understand market moves, you have to start paying attention to where global capital is flowing.

Surely, now when it comes to BTC, we first look at the mood of the Federal Reserve—once institutions enter, the game rules have completely changed.
