Immerse yourself and finish touring this year’s WAIC main hall

Lively all around, and so are the gains
Popular booths were basically impossible to get into; everyone had a DJI on hand, and the atmosphere felt much fuller.
More companies were simply exhibiting to show up and make themselves known—no sign of ByteDance or DeepSeek booths; unexpectedly, I saw a prototype of the upcoming Doubao phone.
Stepping away from the noise to look at the essence, the biggest change this year:
AI has completely said goodbye to flashy “tech tricks,” moving from “showing off capabilities” to “solving real problems.”
Robots are everywhere, blossoming in many forms, but the tracks are highly homogenized.
Most products and technical routes converge closely; truly high-quality projects that have core moats and can deliver real value end-to-end still need to be carefully dug into and vetted.
And the most stunning breakthrough at this year’s WAIC—one that truly widens the gap—
is the deployment of Long-horizon long-range intelligent Agents.
Besides that, I also saw the gentler side of AI.
Other booths had people gathering to watch machines; in the LumiMind exhibition area, it was the people who were busy getting healed by technology.
After three minutes of relaxation, I fell asleep—letting me feel firsthand:
the ultimate question for the future of AI isn’t only to make machines stronger, but to care for people’s emotions and fatigue.
AI in 2026 is no longer cold parameters and performances.
Useful, fun, and full of warmth—
that’s when artificial intelligence truly begins to enter everyday life.
