When asked whether the door to negotiations with the United States has already closed, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Baghaei said on Monday that Iran is advancing war and diplomacy based on national interests. Baghaei said, “We are not in a binary choice between war and diplomacy. Diplomacy is a tool to achieve our national interests, just like war.”
