In response to recent extreme weather events across multiple regions in China, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions today allocated $13.5 million in union disaster-relief funds to support the trade unions in Guangxi, Hubei, Gansu, Guizhou, Hunan, and Chongqing in carrying out emergency rescue and disaster-relief efforts. The funds will mainly be used to慰問 employees affected by the disaster and the personnel involved in emergency rescue and disaster relief. (CCTV News)
