PUMP is now around 0.00167u. It hit a historical high last September at 0.0088u, and it’s now down by 81%.

This coin is pump.fun’s own token, running on Solana. It does exactly one thing: it lets people create tokens with a single click without needing to understand code. It has long been a launchpad for all kinds of meme coins, and it has a very large user base.

Its money-making logic is very straightforward. By holding PUMP, you can stake it to receive 1% of the platform’s trading fees, as well as a share of the token graduation fees. Over the past 30 days, the platform’s net income was 18 million USD alone, which suggests there is indeed a large amount of real trading volume running.

For supply, the publicly sold batch of 330 billion tokens corresponds to a quota of 60 million USD. In the community allocation portion, roughly 2 billion tokens are unlocked each month. The portions allocated to the team and early investors go through a cliff period over one summer, and then switch to a monthly linear release schedule that continues until 2029.

Over the past couple of days, overall community sentiment has been on the more bullish side. There are also recent rumors that the platform may adjust how fees are distributed among PUMP holders.

A double-bottom structure has appeared on the daily chart. Short-term bearish pressure is still there, but there are signs that both trading volume and buy orders are picking back up #pump $PUMP
