Mars Finance news: The State Council Information Office held a press conference to introduce the industrial and information technology development in the first half of 2026. Tao Qing, spokesperson of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and director of the Operations Monitoring and Coordination Bureau, said that software is the soul of next-generation information technology, an important foundation for the development of the digital economy, and a key support for building a strong manufacturing country, a strong cyber power, and a digital China. Next, we will, in accordance with the national software development strategy, continuously strengthen the capacity to supply key software products and services, accelerate the rollout of an AI + software action plan, promote the intelligent transformation of software development, upgrade the intelligence level of software products and services, and foster new business formats for agentic software. We will also continue to enhance the capabilities of open-source infrastructure in areas such as project incubation, supply-chain security governance, exploration of emerging scenarios, and overseas market deployment, and accelerate efforts to grow national-level AI open-source communities into an innovation source for emerging technologies and an important scenario for the landing of software and hardware products.
