Deep Tide TechFlow news: On July 20, Cointelegraph reported that Japanese logistics company AZ-COM Maruwa Holdings plans to use the JPYC stablecoin to pay transportation fees to around 2,300 business partners, covering individual contractors such as truck drivers. The company is considering an investment amount exceeding 1 billion yen (about $6.2 million).

The stablecoin payment scheme does not require transfer fees, enabling faster and more frequent settlement. Noritaka Okabe, founder and CEO of JPYC Inc., said the company will continue to push forward the integration of logistics and business payment processes with JPYC, which is expected to become Japan’s first case of large-scale corporate adoption of a yen-denominated stablecoin.
