Mizuho Securities: Global financial markets may face a “triple blow”

Golden Finance News reported that on July 20, Vishnu Varthan, Head of Asia-Pacific Macroeconomic Strategy at Mizuho Securities, pointed out that global financial markets could face a “triple blow.” First, the escalation of the Iran-U.S. conflict is edging toward the brink of war breaking out in the Middle East. Second, the market is worried about AI valuations being overheated, triggering panic sentiment in the AI sector. Third, the U.S. Federal Reserve is taking a hawkish stance out of concern about persistently high and stubborn inflation. Given these three shocks, the threat of a summer-style crash in scorching heat cannot be ignored.
