Gold initially surged to 4081, then faced sustained pressure and fell, dipping to 3959 intraday before rebounding slightly. The weekly chart closed with a long-bodied bearish candle with long upper and lower wicks. The intermediate-term bearish structure has not reversed. The 4000 level, which was earlier support, has flipped into short-term resistance. The rebound has not attracted any additional FOMO funds—only a short-term oversold correction. On the one-hour timeframe, the rebound strength is weak, making it difficult to change the downward tone.
Trading plan
Rebound: consider buying in batches around 4030–4040, aim for 4000–3989–3960, and exit in batches.
Pullback: if 3960–3970 support is not broken, try for a rebound toward 4000. Enter quickly, exit quickly—don’t hold long-term.
