A financial crisis. If you put it in plain, everyday terms, it’s basically that someone cashed out at the top and walked away. But saying it like that doesn’t sound very nice, so they needed to come up with a word that sounds a bit more acceptable—so they call it a financial crisis. Because money only gets shifted around; it doesn’t disappear. The person cashes out at the top, reaps a fortune beyond belief, and leaves a total disaster behind. How can that be called a crisis? That’s clearly economic prosperity. The good news is that this “crisis” only shows up at the top, not at the bottom—because nobody’s ever heard of cashing out at the bottom. It’s always cashing out at the top.
So you see, experts never study any industry at all. They only study what’s expensive and what’s cheap. The more expensive something is, the bigger the “crisis”; the cheaper something is, the bigger the opportunity. But a lot of the time people get it played backward: they take the expensive as the opportunity and the cheap as the crisis. They only buy what’s expensive and don’t buy what’s right. The Prince thinks, for this kind of thing, you should learn from Chuanzi.
Chuanzi is a master of buying low and selling high. Watch—every time he makes a move, it’s when that thing is cheap. And when it gets expensive, that’s when he starts hyping it. When he starts hyping it, that’s when the crisis is supposed to appear.
