Trailing stop: When you’re up more than 10%, how to move your stop-loss up to protect your principal?

🛡️ After opening the position, everything goes smoothly and your unrealized profit reaches 10%. At this point, your top priority is no longer “make more,” but “don’t lose.”
How to do it?
Move your stop-loss to above your “entry price” (for example, break-even plus a little bit of fees).
That way, even if the market suddenly reverses, you’ll at most exit with a small profit or break even—never a loss.
Advanced tip: As the price rises, keep raising your stop-loss along the trendline. Let the market tell you when it’s time to get off, instead of guessing.
