$ICNT got targeted last night. Anything below 0.16, I had two bites. When I woke up, it had already ripped up 9%—it’s still pushing around 0.17. This thing is going to cause trouble today.
Let’s put it in plain language: ICNT is now 0.1698. Over the past 24 hours, it’s risen from 0.1547 to 0.1762. Trading volume is $3 million—put in the context of small-cap coins, that’s a decent amount. Translated—like at the weekend night market, suddenly someone starts lining up to buy snacks; the street energy is back.
Technical take, simple and brutal: it kept building a base around 0.15 before. Today, a single green candle directly pierced 0.17, and the trading volume expanded by nearly a full doubling compared with last night. This kind of move is either someone lying in wait for news in advance, or it got swept after buy orders were placed and then triggered a chase-buy frenzy. With the low at 0.1547, it probably won’t come back today again. Near-term support is around 0.165.
Trading advice: if you’re aggressive, try to touch 0.168–0.17 once more, size a small position for a quick trade. Set your stop-loss at 0.163 (if it breaks, it means it was a fake pull). First target: 0.175. Second target: 0.18. If you want to be steadier, wait for a dip back to 0.165 and enter in batches; don’t let position size exceed 5% of your total capital. If today it can’t break up and hold above 0.18 and it’s doing so on shrinking volume, exit immediately—don’t “hold the line.”
Personal logic: I’ve seen this kind of move on other coins in the Gate square before. For example, last month, a small-cap chain game had a bottom breakout with a volume spike pushing it up 8%, and then over the next few days it kept pushing another 15%. But don’t treat me like a prophet—small coins can flip faces in a day. 0.1762 is today’s high; above that, resistance isn’t small. Orders resting around 0.18 are waiting to get out at breakeven. Remember: take profit and leave—don’t get greedy for the last bite.
If you don’t get it, ask in the comments.
