Odaily Planet Daily News: U.S. President Donald Trump signed the “Guiding and Establishing National Innovation for U.S. Stablecoins Act” one year ago, the GENIUS Act, enabling the United States to launch its first stablecoin federal regulatory framework.

The GENIUS Act requires federal regulators to develop stablecoin governance rules covering issuer reserves, governance, and operational requirements. The related implementation details are still being developed by agencies including the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.
