Golden Finance News, July 20: At this year’s World Artificial Intelligence Conference, Academician Yao Qizhi spoke at the Thinker’s Forum on July 19 about new directions for AI development, human-computer collaboration, and reflections on young people’s growth. When discussing the current state of domestic AI development, Yao Qizhi said directly that in recent years China’s artificial intelligence industry has advanced at a very fast pace, and its overall development level ranks among the world’s best. He also noted that people themselves are the most valuable; when humans learn to use tools, and tools are combined with them, they become even more powerful. “I think in two or three years, AI will bring a tremendous change to those doing scientific research. In the future, individual capability plus AI tools will form a combination; the competition is between combinations, not individuals.”
